IN MEMORIAM:
GLENN ROSEBERRY, FOUNDER
October 7, 1956 - October 9, 2026

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Glenn Roseberry, missionary to Tanzania, founder of Kingdom Matters.

Glenn was truly one of a kind, and his Kingdom legacy is extraordinary.

His life was a remarkable story of redemption, surrender, and passionate purpose. Glenn never got over the wonder of God’s grace. He loved sharing how Jesus rescued him, forgave him, and transformed his life. He wanted everyone he encountered to know that same grace.

Fourteen years ago, convinced that God was calling him to share the gospel among unreached people in Tanzania, Glenn sold nearly everything he owned and moved to East Africa with very little to his name.

And for fourteen years, he gave his life away.

He proclaimed the gospel, made disciples, planted churches, and poured his life into the people God called him to love. Through God’s gracious work in and through Glenn’s faithfulness, a network of churches was established and local leaders raised up to continue the ministry.

What an extraordinary testimony to the power of God through one surrendered life.

We will miss Glenn dearly. But even in our sadness, we rejoice that he is now in the presence of the Savior he loved and proclaimed so passionately.
His faith has become sight.

For now, we grieve. But we do not grieve without hope. He who promised is faithful. Please join us in praying for Glenn’s family and all who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Island Community Church in Memphis on Sunday, November 8th, at 3pm, allowing time for family, friends, and ministry partners from across the country. We hope you will consider participating.

Glenn wanted nothing more than to see the ministry in Tanzania continue through the ongoing support of his network of kingdom-minded partners. In lieu of flowers or other donations, please make a one-time gift or partnership commitment to Kingdom Matters.
